Private Psychiatric Practice · Los Angeles
Dr. Natassia Gaznick is a double board-certified psychiatrist and addiction psychiatrist offering evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy. In-person in West Los Angeles and via telehealth throughout California.
About
Dr. Natassia Gaznick is double board-certified in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. Her private practice offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for adults — with a particular focus on the treatment of addiction and the conditions that frequently accompany it.
She graduated from Loyola Marymount University and completed a two-year research fellowship at the Mayo Clinic before earning her MD and PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Iowa, where her doctoral work focused on the neurobiology of addiction. She completed her psychiatry residency on the research track at UC San Diego, followed by an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at UCLA.
Dr. Gaznick takes a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to psychiatric care, favoring the least-invasive intervention that fits the patient’s situation. Her work is informed by positive psychology, values-based living, and integrative medicine, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy as clinically appropriate.
Her professional interests include the integration of psychotherapy into modern psychiatric practice, physician mental health, wellness, and supporting underrepresented minorities in medicine and the sciences.
